Le Symposium Aquarelle Lac-Beauport
(SALB) est un événement familial et culturel haut en couleur. A sa 8e
édition, vous y trouverez 50 artistes du Québec (professionnels et amateurs)
qui exposent et qui sont à l’œuvre devant le public soit au Centre
d’Aventures Le Relais ou sur des sites ( jardins privés, boisés, chutes etc…)
autour du Lac Beauport (15 minutes de Québec). Cet événement familial permet
aux adultes et aux enfants de s’initier à ce merveilleux médium et ce, dans
un chapiteau aménager à cette fin. La visite du SYMPOSIUM est gratuite. Par
contre, les visiteurs qui se procurent le PASSEP’ART au tarif de 5$ ont
accès à différents produits et services. Le détenteur du PASSEP’ART peut
visiter les sites en utilisant les 6 navettes, visiter le Chapiteau "PAUSE
SANTÉ" de METRO GP afin de déguster certains produits et aussi utiliser les
coupons rabais dans les restaurants et commerces de nos commanditaires
participants.

d’Aventures Le Relais de 16h30 à 18h artistes au Centre d’Aventures Le
Relais.
Aquarelle Lac-Beauport
Symposium (september 10th to the 12th) is a watercolor symposium
celebrating its 8th edition. Located only 15 minutes from Quebec City,
Lac-Beauport boasts beautiful scenery with its lake and wooded areas as 50
of Quebec's, Nova-Scotia and New-Brunwick’s watercolorists capture the
enchantement live with their brushes and colors. These artists are seen in
galleries in Montreal, Quebec City, Baie St-Paul and other art centers and
some are even new and ready to be discovered.
With the Centre
d'Aventures Le Relais as its home base, the art show and the other family
activities are easily found. On Friday, the artists are free to paint and
sketch the area at large and to hang their finished works at the Relais
where they will paint from 1h pm until 6h pm to meet the public.
On Saturday and Sunday,
the artists are assigned from 9 am to 4:30 pm to specific sites (private
gardens, an old farm, the Manoir St-Castin ( a lake side Inn) and at the
Communauty centre. Visitors can participate in a Rally to win a watercolor
valued at $800. There's a Workshop to initiate children and adult to
watercolor thecniques, where our future artists can use true watercolor
materials and win prizes by participating. The artists return to the Relais
at 4:30 pm and stay there until 6 pm.
As the quantity of artwork
increases, there will be a closing ceremony at 4:30 pm on Sunday the 12th.
The watercolors will be on sale starting on Friday morning because each
artist begins his production with 2 works done in his studio and then
completes his stall with the results of his 3 day effort. Quality, quantity
and variety are the highlights of this family oriented event where art and
nature are at their best for their admiring public.
